Students and Families

College Readiness, Leadership, and Life Transitions — Supporting students and families toward success in college and beyond.

LEAD by IMPACT offers both standalone programs and ongoing guidance to support students and their parents or guardians through key educational and developmental transitions.

We partner with families as students prepare for college, transition into campus life, and navigate early adulthood. Our work includes guiding parents—particularly first-generation parents and caregivers—through the college admissions process, institutional systems, and the evolving role families play during this transition.

Each engagement is thoughtfully customized based on individual needs, stage of development, and scope of service.

IMPACT's Commitment

to Students & Families

Through years of leadership in higher education and community-based work, Anilsa witnessed firsthand how access to information, advocacy, and institutional knowledge can dramatically shape outcomes for individuals and families. Too often, those without familiarity with systems—particularly first-generation students, families, and underrepresented communities—were left navigating complex processes without equitable support.

LEAD by IMPACT was created to bridge those gaps. The work is grounded in the belief that leadership, education, and opportunity should not depend on proximity to power or insider knowledge, but on intentional guidance, empathy, and access. IMPACT exists to support individuals and organizations as they navigate growth, transition, and change—with clarity, integrity, and purpose.

"We believe student success is deeply connected to equitable access to information, process, and rights—especially for first-generation families and those unfamiliar with institutional systems."
